Bachelor of Science in Nursing or B.Sc Nursing is a 4-year undergraduate professional course and is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences. The objective of the B.Sc. Nursing programme is to demonstrate competency in the knowledge and skills in providing comprehensive nursing care based on the problem-solving approach in the hospital and community. Prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services. Prepare nurses who can make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, community nursing services, and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. They are also expected to assume the role of teacher, supervisor, and manager in a clinical/ public health setting/ school of nursing.

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is a four and half year program with six months compulsory rotatory internship. Bachelor of Physiotherapy is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences. The language of instruction is English for all the subjects of study and the examinations are also taken only in English The course is designed to give the students a scientific understanding of the human body based on medical sciences and to provide training in understanding the procedures for therapy and to develop skills The subjects taught in the course include Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Psychology, Medical and Surgical conditions, Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Disability prevention, Rehabilitation and other related subjects. Major thrust of the course work is on practical and clinical skill development with six months of compulsory rotatory internship where students work under the supervision of professionals at various hospitals and institutions recognized by the affiliated university.
